upon arrival
When your order arrives, it should be frozen or partially thawed. Don’t worry if your items arrive thawed, you can refrigerate them for up to 14 days or even refreeze them. This is possible because we vacuum seal all of our products and the thawing that occurs during shipping is a slow thaw, similar to thawing in a refrigerator, due to the dry ice evaporating over time.
Schedule
We currently only ship orders on Mondays and Tuesdays through UPS 2nd Day Air due to our fullblood wagyu beef needing to arrive to your doorstep frozen or partially thawed.
Orders placed before 3pm Central Time on Monday and Tuesday are shipped that same day. Orders placed after 3pm Central Time on Monday and Tuesday ship the following Monday to ensure freshness of your products upon arrival at your location.
Holiday shipping can be complicated especially in a global pandemic. UPS, FEDEX and USPS have said that this year around holidays, customers should expect delays. Please place your orders ahead of time for holidays.
Materials
At Miller Wagyu Ranch, we ship our full blood wagyu beef in corrugated boxes, lined with GreenCell Foam and packed with dry ice to ensure that your beef arrives still frozen or partially thawed.
Our GreenCell Foam insulated shipping coolers are earth-friendly, great for the environment by being biodegradable and can be dissolved easily if placed under running water. We ship orders with 5 to 10 pounds of dry ice to make sure your package arrives frozen or partially thawed. We make sure not to overload your order with dry ice so we can keep the shipping prices as low as possible for our customers.
